Afelim

AFELIM brings together companies in the printed electronics sector in France, to represent their interests and create an efficient and job-creating sector. Our main mission is to raise awareness of the profession.
The association is constantly looking for members linked to the profession to integrate them into the printed and organic electronics value chain and thus strengthen its actions: create a network of members from different professions on the printed and organic electronics market , discuss the issues of the profession, promote the sector, create a strong link between R&D and production, consolidate the relay with public authorities to convey the messages of the profession, disseminate the
market information through the OAS, open access to major research programs, represent the profession and members at various professional events and fairs, serve as a relay to European and global authorities.
The birth of printed electronics is a true revolution. The cost/performance ratio of this new technology makes it very attractive for multiple applications. Even more, the current trend of integrating electronic components into intelligent objects favors its development.

Hepia

With 28 schools spread across French-speaking Switzerland and some 21,000 students, the University of Applied Sciences of Western Switzerland (HES-S0) is the largest higher professional training network in Switzerland. Comprising 9 basic training courses and 4 research institutes, HEPIA responds to the HES-S0 missions which arise from the federal law on HES (LHES) of October 8, 1995: basic training focused on practice, continuing training, applied research and development, service provision, international relations. With more than 1,000 students, around 350 collaborators and 2 sites (Geneva and Lulier), HEPIA constitutes one of the most important schools of HES-SO Geneva. It has applied research institutes, particularly in the field of Industrial Sciences and Technologies. One of its lines of research focuses on the application of microtechniques in bioengineering. It is in this context that an activity of printing circuits and sensors on polymer has been developed over the last 7 years.
